Water routes inside the proposed facility, shown as overlaysProposed facility visualization. Cyan routes in the image are explanatory overlays.

Water used again

How water moves through the facility. Drawn from the site's water source, treated, circulated, collected and used again, with new water only replacing what is lost.

By NoTerra Farms

Every drop matters. Nevada is the driest state in the country, so the farm is designed to keep water in use rather than use it once.

Intake and treatment

Water enters the facility from the site’s water source. For most sites that will be a well or a municipal supply. It is treated and prepared with nutrients before it reaches the growing zones.

Circulation and reuse

Water circulates through the growing zones, then is collected, treated, and returned to be used again. This internal loop keeps the same water working inside the building.

Replenishment

Plants take up some water as they grow, and some evaporates. New water is added only to replace those losses, never to refill the whole system.

The diagram is conceptual. The final water system will be set through engineering.
